Saints TV takes you behind the scenes of our Thursday night visit to the MKM Stadium, where our team took on the Black & Whites.
A match that had a lot of discussion going into the fixture, but most of it was to do with Hull FC’s off-field matters and the immediate future of their then Head Coach, John Cartwright.
Paul Rowley knew it would be an emotionally charged night for the hosts, and with them also getting a week off with no Challenge Cup action, the Airlie Birds would be fired up to say the least.
Boosted by the return of captain Matty Lees, it was a special night for one young Saint in particular. Tom Humphreys became the newest homegrown Saint, coming off the bench to make his Super League and official club debut.
