Head Coach Paul Rowley speaks to the press ahead of this Sunday’s home match against Toulouse Olympique.
The Saints have been boosted by the arrival of Jed Cartwright on loan, with Rowley pleased to add the experienced back-rower to his options, and he confirmed that Cartwright will be involved this weekend.
With injuries really stretching and testing our squad, Rowley admitted it has been difficult, but he is very excited to give our younger players the chance to step up. He praised the attitude of the group throughout the season and believes our Academy players have earned their opportunity through hard work and strong performances if selected.
Looking ahead to Toulouse, Rowley expects another tough test against a dangerous side and singled out full-back Olly Ashall-Bott as one of the competition’s standout performers. However, his focus remains firmly on Saints, with the Head Coach determined to see his side build on their recent performances and make home advantage count on Sunday.
