Match-day captain Jackson Hastings speaks to Saints TV following our annual Member Open Day and previews the team’s trip to York Knights.
The half-back believes the Saints are building in the right direction, insisting there were plenty of positives from last week’s performance against Wigan, highlighting the resilience shown by our injury-hit side.
He highlighted the development of the Red V’s youngsters, and how the Saints can take confidence into the trip to York as they look to return to winning ways.
‘Jacko’ was full of praise for the Interim Head Coach Eamon O’Carroll following a hectic week for the Club, and he states that the players have responded well and are fully focused on the challenge that lies ahead.
Looking specifically to our upcoming game at York, Jackson expects a close contest, especially after our earlier meeting against the Knights at home this season. With plenty of experience and attacking quality in their ranks, the Saints need to be determined to produce their best to come away with the two league points.
