The Saints Under 18s were taking on the Bulls in Round 11 of the Academy Championship season, the final regular season round of the campaign.
After two successive victories in the last two matches over Hull FC and Leigh Leopards, St.Helens were out to make it three in a row.
Bradford were highly motivated heading into this round, sat bottom of the table and yet to register a win; they would come to our town looking to remedy that record.
