Curtis Sironen is backing the Saints to build on last week’s victory as attention turns to Saturday’s Betfred Super League clash with Castleford Tigers.
He highlighted the need for continued improvement as the Red V progress through the season, with the squad focused on learning and developing week by week.
The experienced back-rower, now in his fifth season with Saints, reflected on his recent return from a calf injury after featuring in last week’s win over Huddersfield Giants.
The powerful forward spoke positively about being back out on the field and contributing to the side again after time on the sidelines.
Looking back on the performance against the Giants, Sironen admitted it was a scrappy contest at times but stressed the importance of grinding out the result and taking confidence from securing the two points.
Turning attention to Saturday’s trip to Castleford, Sironen said he is feeling fresh following his return from injury and is eager to make a positive impact for the team over the coming weeks as Saints look to continue their winning run
