Coming off the back of an impressive display against Wigan in our previous game, a win was vital in sending us to that year’s showpiece event, and setting up that famous Jack Welsby last-gasp try!
The scoreline perhaps made the game seem more one-sided than it actually was, as Catalans made us work for each and every try on the day and brought the best out of us defensively as we shut them out, keeping them try less.
