Sit Down With Saints continues this week as we spoke exclusively to Mark Percival as he embarks on his Testimonial year here at Saints.
He spoke to us about his injury and the time he’s had to take out with it, going in-depth about how serious it could have been, and all the complications that went with it. But, with a return to fitness and a return to the squad, he’s feeling good, and looking to continue in the Red Vee for many years to come.
With his early years so successful we went in-depth on his debut, against a Leeds side full of quality, and his early super league success with a victory coming in 2014 very early in his career, but then also the disappointment of the years following, including in 2018.
However, with unprecedented Super League success over the last four years, and then an away victory in the World Club Challenge, Mark has become one of the most decorated players in the club’s recent history.
With Mark’s Testimonial year well underway now, he also spoke to us about how proud he is to have had the support of our fans since his events started with sell-out evenings at the Totally Wicked Stadium already behind him, he’s looking forward to what’s to come.
