Paul Wellens spoke to the press following our victory over the Huddersfield Giants at home in our rescheduled first round of the Betfred Super League Season.
He spoke about the situation surrounding Joe Greenwood’s dismissal for the Giants and how that possibly made the game harder for us, and felt we gave them ample opportunity to stay in the game.
With Joe Batchelor leaving the field for the second half, he stated it was just precautionary, and he’s fine, bit given his outstanding GPS numbers, we didn’t want to push him too far.
He also gave his thoughts on our Women’s sides victory at Wembley over the weekend!
