With a Grand Final place secured with a win against the Wigan Warriors, we caught up with Tara Jones to discuss the game, directly after the full-time whistle!
She said that it’s a phenomenal feeling to get the result in what was such a tight game, and a game that we made difficult for ourselves in the first half.
After half time though, and a “stern talking to” from head coach Matty Smith, we knew what was needed as a group, and Tara said we did that in the second half.
With the win meaning we extend our season by two weeks as we look ahead to the final, Tara’s looking forward to the challenge and the opportunity to secure another trophy this season!
