Joe Batchelor previews tough test against Trinity

Thu 10 Apr 25

Looking ahead to this Friday’s home game against Wakefield Trinity, Joe Batchelor speaks to Saints TV.

The Saints back-rower reflects on Sunday’s exit from the Betfred Challenge Cup at the Quarter Final stage, Batchelor admits that whilst he is not a traditional centre, he would play anywhere for the team. He showed that by playing in that position for St.Helens, after two failed HIAs in the knockout game last weekend.

Joe reaffirms that we as a team will be looking to make a big response in front of our fans on Friday night.

Knowing that Wakefield pose a tough challenge having played them already at the start of March, the Red V are aiming to stop the away winning run the Trin are currently on, and kick on with our league campaign.
