After a disappointing afternoon last time out that saw us exit the Challenge Cup at the hands of the Warrington Wolves, we needed a response as we returned to Super League action as we look to focus in on the two remaining trophies up for grabs for us this season.
Wakefield would also come into the game needing a response as they exited the cup against Leigh last week, but they would come into the game high on confidence having not lost away from home to this point all season.
The game would also see a return to the field for Lewis Murphy, who had been sidelined with an injury since the opening round of Super League.
