The highlights as we took on Warrington in round nine of the Betfred Super League season.
Following last week’s loss at the hands of Wigan Warriors on Good Friday, we went into the game needing to put in a better performance. The game against Wigan had it’s positives in terms of our line defence, and we were confident that if we could nail our attacking play, we could get something from this game.
Warrington would come into the game without George Williams, and needing a win themselves following a loss to Leigh in Rivals Round. They would also lose Marc Sneyd to a HIA in the game, leaving them without a recognised half.
A win in this one could see us rise to third in the table behind Wigan only on points difference, but with the rest of the league still to play this weekend.
