Proud of the efforts of all of his teammates in the period without a fixture, Whitby believed it was a just reward for their efforts, and now they want to kick on and build positive consistency in the Super League campaign.
Ahead of celebrating his 19th birthday on Saturday, Whitby also detailed the clear message that his Head Coach Paul Wellens gave him and the team that led to the victory.
