Our Saints looked to extend a winning run to six games, having picked up wins against home and away wins over both Salford Red Devils and Leeds Rhinos, with a victory over Hull FC. Last time out at Headingley, the Saints put on a phenomenal defensive performance to win 0-6 against the Rhinos.
Leigh were in fine form too, having won five of their last six games in the Betfred Super League, including wins against the top two, Hull KR and Wigan Warriors, in the previous two rounds.
