The Saints’ #9 reflected on a tough night at home which saw the Saints fall to a 4-18 defeat to Wigan Warriors.
Giving his verdict on the loss, Clark pulled no punches and simply said the team did not play well enough for long enough. Whilst admitting that the Warriors’ game plan worked well, he was left frustrated.
Whilst the Red V’s opening quarter was strong, Daryl insisted that we need to play for eighty minutes in the big games.
During the match our number nine needed to come off the field for a Head Injury Assessment, he revealed it was precautionary and it was more of a whiplash effect following a tackle.
Looking ahead to next week, Clark knows the Saints have to click into better gear when we take on Leigh, especially if we are to push as high as we can in the league table.
