Following a run of disappointing results, we went into this one knowing that we needed to pick up the two points heading into the play offs to build some confidence, and a better performance was needed as our departing saints played their final game at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Castleford would come into this one off the back of a big defeat at the hands of the Wigan Warriors, and with their season ending on the night, they would want to put in a big performance to close the season in front of their away following.
