With our first game of the play-offs on the horizon we caught up with Tristan Sailor to get his thoughts on his first play off series in the UK!
Tristan said he’s really excited to get going, and it’s been building for a month or so within the group, so to be heading over to Headingley to take on Leeds tomorrow he can’t wait.
This will be the fifth time we’ve played Leeds in all competitions this season, and they’ve all had that finals intensity about them, so Tristan knows we’ll have to bring out all, but he wants to replicate that intensity of our last trip to Headingley and maybe come away with a few more points.
After a tight contest last week against Castleford with a much changed Saints side, Tristan said it was good to see Jake Davies and Shane Wright get their debuts, but knows the intensity will be bigger tomorrow night.
Tristan also said he knows all about this rivalry, and knows our fans will be there in their numbers to back us as they have been all season!
