Our number five speaks to Saints TV after playing a big part in the 14-16 Eliminator Play-Off victory over Leeds Rhinos.
Bennison was a late call-up to the squad following Kyle Feldt pulling out of the team due to ongoing back issues, which forced him off the field last week against Castleford.
Whilst Shane Wright’s final try will likely be the one most remember, Bennison’s try before it was crucial, and Jon was pleased to score it, adding the conversion to keep us in the fight.
Looking ahead to the Semi-Final against Hull KR, Jon wants to keep holding his hand up and doing his job for his teammates and the club he has come through, before moving on to a new challenge next season.
