In the latest episode of our exclusive Saints TV show, Sit Down With Saints, host Stuart Pyke is joined by our new Head Coach Paul Rowley to discuss his journey to the club.
Paul started the show by discussing joining the club, and how much of an honour it is to be joining such a great club with the history and the heritage we have, but also the present, with the fans, the stadium, and the quality of the team.
Expectation was mentioned a lot, and Stuart asked how the difference in pressure would affect him, coming from Salford. He said there are a few different pressures, but he’s confident and believes things happen for a reason.
In the second half of the show, Stuart asked Paul more about his plans for the coming season, and if his style of attacking rugby can bring back ‘The Saints way’. Paul said it’s fair to say that he has a way of playing that people recognise, but he does want to add to the defensive side of the play too.
