We caught up with Jonny Lomax as we look ahead to our opening round clash away at Warrington.
Jonny said that he’s excited to get going, and that you look ahead to this all the way through preseason, and then when the games come it’s about putting that work into action.
With the away end sold out, and having been sold out for more than a week, Jonny knows the atmosphere will be electric, as it always is for Warrington away. He went on to say that Warrington are a quality side, as are we, and it should be a good clash.
This off season saw a change of coach, and an addition of some personnel, and Jonny said he has been enjoying the level of freedom he’s been feeling this off season, and said there’s a good feel about it.
A chance of position has seemingly come for Jonny this season, and on that he said that he’s just happy to play, it’s a position he’s played when he was younger, but not for a while, and said that he’s going into the games enjoying them just as he did in his youth knowing his playing time is coming to an end.
