Paul Rowley looks ahead to his first home Super League match as St.Helens Head Coach.
Opening the press conference with some disappointing news, the Red V’s #1, Jack Welsby, is expected to be sidelined for around four months. The full-back suffered a shoulder dislocation while scoring against Warrington in Round 1.
Reflecting on the defeat to the Wolves, Rowley felt his Saints were competitive in attack but admitted he expects improvement defensively, particularly around the ruck.
With Leigh making a strong start to the new campaign with a home win over Leeds, Rowley knows the Leopards pose threats across the park and will be fired up to travel to our home ground.
