Doing it tough on the injury front, the Red V would be without Alex Walmsley after he had been added to a growing injury list, leading to further shuffles to the team. Noah Stephens was named on the bench for the first time in the 2026 campaign, and wanted to make an impact after his own injury recovery.
Bradford had impressed in the opening weeks of the season, with home wins over both Catalans and Toulouse, as well as running Hull FC close on the road.
