A former heptathlete, McGifford was asked to see if she would come and give our sport a go by now Head Coach Craig Richards, and each year she feels like she has progressed.
Something that has truly delighted Dani has been the team environment, where in athletics competition she would be alone, she now has teammates there to help her not only on the field but off it too.
McGifford is relishing the thought of playing at Wembley in the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup Final, and knows that a tough test awaits as the Wigan Warriors, our fierce rivals look to take the Cup crown our Saints have held for four straight years.
