Take a look at the highlights as St.Helens Women took on Leeds Rhinos Women at the Eco-Power Stadium in Doncaster in the Betfred Challenge Cup Semi-Finals.
The Saints and Rhinos have a history in the Women’s Challenge Cup, having both reached the finals at Wembley in 2023 and 2024, both of which the Saints won. So with Wembley the prize for the winner of this semi-final, the stakes were high.
St.Helens Women headed into this game in strong form, topping the Group Stage with wins away over Huddersfield, and a home victory over Catalans Dragons in the two teams’ first-ever meeting. St.Helens earned a home quarter-final against Barrow Raiders and put on a dominant first half en-route to a 68-4 victory.
A win against the Rhinos would mark St.Helens Women’s sixth consecutive appearance in the Women’s Challenge Cup Final, and would give the team a chance to return to Wembley and challenge for the trophy they held for four consecutive years.
